I love to work on new styles and one day I came up with this.
I had my bangs cut on an arch. I blew them smooth and rounded them a little. I separated 1 and a 1/2 inch sections and curled them with an iron. I left the curls untouched.
Yes I used a 3/4 inch curling iron. I made sure my hair was very smooth with no overlapping strands. I had the iron on medium high heat and made sure to roll the hair under with even tension along the barrel. To release the curl, I open the clasp only slightly and hold a metal comb to the edge of the hair so it doesn't stretch the curl while I slide the barrel out. I clip the curl in place till my hair cools enough to set the curl. It is important not to disturb the surface of the curl or you will lose shine. I finish with a little holding spray to keep curls in place and prevent flyaways. Thank you for your interest. Brian

Hi Linda,
I used a 3/4 inch curling iron on medium to high heat. I made sure hair was as smooth as possible before I curled. The trick is to wind evenly around the barrel so the curl surface stays smooth. This will give much more shine. I use a comb to help me slide the curls out while lifting up the clamp as little as possible. If you hold the comb in front of the curl you can get the curl to slide right out. I pinned each curl until they cooled and were set being careful not to disturb them. I finish with a little spray to keep them in place. I have gotten good through trial and error.

This is one of the prettyist styles I have seen in a long time. I like the smooth texture and shine of the curls.
