Recording artist, actress, singer, celebrity and performer Mary J. Blige wears an awful hair style, a short, strange, precision bob with straight bangs falling to brow length and shaped around her eyes.
This hairdo so completely fails to suit Mary J. Blige that it can only be described as celebrity red carpet ick. Her ill-advised coppery blonde hair color, with pale blonde highlights and streaks of dark brown, is a big part of the problem.
But it goes beyond that.
Mary's straight, glossy hair is layered into the cheeks in a style reminiscent of Naomi Campbell's (Picture 6), but here it gives too much emphasis to MJ's prominent cheek bones which, in effect, become an extension of the line of her hair as it tapers from the back. Seen here in side view, this same line parallels the strong jaw and transforms Mary J. Blige's face into sharp, extreme angles.
